Dr. Irtiza Hasan, MD, MSc (Internal Medicine), MSc (Cardiology), MRCP (UK), FASN — with postdoctoral training in Translational Research, advanced certification in AI in Medicine, and an ongoing clinical fellowship in Glomerular Diseases — stands today as a distinguished physician specializing in Internal Medicine, Nephrology and Hypertension. He is board-certified in ABIM Internal Medicine, ABIM Nephrology and ABAIM, yet what defines him even more is his identity as an IM-1 alum, a true torchbearer of our institution.

Today, the IMCAS executive committee had the privilege of meeting him to celebrate not only his outstanding accomplishments, but also the way he continues to uphold IMC’s name on a global platform. Despite preparing to leave on the 4th of December, bhaia still made time for us — a gesture we deeply appreciate.

His reflections on leadership, success, and the importance of remaining humble even after reaching such heights were genuinely inspiring. We had a meaningful discussion, took his insightful suggestions about the future of IMCAS, and left feeling motivated and grateful.
